Well put- fake followers are pretty much useless. It may make you look good for a fraction of a second but if you don’t have the quality content and engagement with people genuinely interested in what you have to offer, you are wasting your time and money.

Thanks for putting this out there. Fake fans are not at all valuable to a business. The whole point of social fans (real ones!) are to convert them into customers, brand ambassadors, etc. Fake fans can’t and won’t do any of that. They add no value. Plus, if your real fans find out you have fake fans, you seriously hurt your brand. I have no idea how these fake fans companies even sell to their service. Why do companies justify buying them?

Brilliant post; I completely agree. I don’t understand why people get so caught up with the number of followers, rather than the quality and engagement of those followers!
